At the end of the year a Calendar is produced representing one member's painting and the winners of each monthly exhibition.

The QAS 9th Charity Art Show will be on Saturday 24 September to Monday 3 October This year the QAS are supporting the Ricky Stuart Foundation - the foundation was set up in December 2011 with the support of PwC to help raise awareness of autism in our society. Last year It was a huge success and the society thanks all those who supported it, This years sponsorship are from the ACT Government, IMB and Bendigo Banks, AnitCom, National Portrat Gallery and Copy Quick Printers - it is this type of sponsorship that allows the Society to stage such a charity event.

Art classes are held on weekdays, weekends and evenings. They cover all mediums and some specialise in a particular subject matter. A relaxed and supportive environment is encouraged and students of all levels are welcome. Tuition costs are minimal. In addition to the regular art classes, visiting professional tutors conduct workshops throughout the year.
